My First Digital Scrapbook Page

This was fun. I created it using Michael's new MIDesign tool. I'll probably do some digi's, but I like the actual hands on creating. But isn't this the cutest couple. This is my daughter and her husband, cute couple!

My Boo Gift

was a big success.  My co-worker loved it and said her and her hubby went to a Halloween party so she had the perfect photos.  I'm so glad she liked it.

My Boo Gift

This is a scrapbook page I made for a "boo" gift for someone at work.  I like how it turned out.  It is a lift from someone on Scrapbook.com.  I'll find out who it was and I'll post it here.  The fun ribbon doesn't show up very well, but it's bats and little poms.  I cut out the witch and the tree with my Cricut E and the paper is DCWV The Halloween and Fall Stack.

Thanks for looking.

Cute Little Flower

Hi Everyone, Just wanted to share this cute little flower from Scrap A Little. All you need is a circle punch, ink, button and glue. I punched 5 circles, inked the edges, pinched the bottom of four of the circles and glued them to the 5th circle. Viola! How Cute! I stamped the circles for a little extra. These are easy, quick and inexpensive to make! Check out Scrap A Little's blog for more of her great flowers.

A New Year - 2011

Well, I'm back after a long absence in 2010. 2010 was a long and difficult year with many changes in my life. First and foremost, my husband passed away in September after a long illness. I miss him so much I can't even begin to express in words. He was my lover, my best friend, my soulmate. He made me laugh every day and told me 10 times a day how much he loved me. I'm thankful that he is at peace and home with God, but I wish he was still here with me. He was a good man and I'm a better woman for being blessed with him in my life.

So 2011 is off to a good start. I have a new job and hopefully be will going back to school this year for an Associates Degree. I'm ready for some normal in life again.

My goal with this blog is to post at least once a week and eventually every other day. I really would like to get my scrapbooking and photography back in full motion this year. I have a new Nikkon D3000 camera and have lots to learn about it still. I'm thinking of taking an adult education class at the local vocational school on beginning photography. My family says they feel like they are at a photo shoot whenever I'm around, they love it. Whenever someone needs a photo, they know who to call! I love it!

Well, enough for today, I accomplished my List of Things To Do Today!
